Native across Canada and southward to the northern USA this member of the Primula family is found growing in rich, cool woods. Starflower is a unique combination of white, star-like flowers and a single whorl of shiny, pointed leaves. "Discriminating people, when they first find its elegant silvery flower growing in the woods beside the violet, call it May-star." (Susan Cooper, 1850). Seed wild collected in Ontario.
Germination Instructions: Outdoor treatment recommended.
