Native to bogs, fens, swamps and woods with a circumboreal distribution; preferring moist upland forests. Above elliptic leaves, delicate, waxy, nodding greenish-white flowers. A small gem. Seed wild collected in Ontario.
Germination Instructions: There is no known method for germinating this species in an artificial setting. It is believed that a natural fungi found in its environment is required for sprouting. In the wild, this species grows in well-drained, dry woodlands, in acid conditions, wit

It has been years since I have been able to offer this species. Native to North America, Europe and northern Asia; distributed across Canada and southwards into the USA. Grows in wet woods and boggy areas. A delicate plant with shiny, rounded leaves in a basal rosette. Flowers are in a spike; white, open-faced and nodding with a long and curved pistil. Seed wild collected in Ontario. Very limited.
