HYDROPHYLLUM(WATERLEAF)Family: HYDROPHYLLACEAE
About 8 species of plants native to Canada and the USA growing in woodsy, humous-rich settings with divided, lobed leaves and flowers in terminal cymes. Common name derives from the fact that basal and stem leaves are often marked (water-marked) with gray blotches and spots, especially in spring and fall. Can form large colonies in time.
