Searching Genus for GLAUCIUM

GLAUCIUM(HORNED POPPY)Family: PAPAVERACEAE
About 25 species of plants with spectacular blue-gray foliage and poppy-like flowers. Particularly suitable for xeric gardens. Full sun, well-drained soil.

GLAUCIUM flavumAll Season1737
Yellow Horned Poppy30-60cm  Zone: 4
Native to the European seacoast. A voluptuous mound of dissected, intensely silver foliage. Yellow poppies for most of the summer. This tender perennial is Z7 hardy, but self sows nicely, always coming up exactly where it was the year previous and reaching flowering size each season. We therefore come to think of it as a permanent part of the garden.
Germination Instructions: Cold treatment required.
