Native to rocky stream-side mountain meadows of Asia, with a scrambling or twining habit. Produces a clump of greyish-green foliage. Large porcelain pale-blue flowers marked orange and maroon inside. Allow it to tumble down a slope or wall or twine through a small early-flowering shrub. Will scramble to 1.2m. Often flowers first year.
Germination Instructions: Easy, warm germinator.

Native to to Manchuria, Korea and Japan growing in ravines, moist meadows, mostly in sandy soil. A smaller version of C. lanceolata, this also has a somewhat twining habit. Flowers are bell-shaped, purplish outside, and with a zone of purple inside the mouth of the bell, the base spotted.
